When is the HRPP Progress Update due?

The HRPP Progress Update is due by the annual anniversary date of the study's initial approval or exemption determination from the IRBOnline system.  An HRPP Progress Update submission is required annually for as long as the study is open.  

What is the Anniversary Date? 
For example, if the study had an original Approval Date or Determination Date of 4/23/2024, the anniversary date is April 23.  The HRPP Progress Update is due each year by April 23.

Where do I find the Anniversary Date? 
In IRBOnline, go to your project and select the "Project Dashboard".  Near the top you will see an "Approval Date" or "Determination Date".  This is the date that your project was originally approved or determined exempt.  The month and day of that date is your Anniversary Date.  In the example below, the Approval Date is 8/16/2024, meaning the Progress Update is due each year on August 16th.
