Who can participate in research?

Each research study has its own set of criteria to determine who can participate.  These criteria are part of the research plan and are based on the specific objectives of the study and the research question.  The researcher may ask you questions or have you fill out a short survey to determine if you qualify for the specific study. In some cases, there may be specific tests or physical exams that are needed to determine if you qualify to participate in the study.
