Description
Some studies are required to be re-reviewed by the IRB on an annual basis. When a study is first approved by the IRB, the approval letter will indicate if the approval has an expiration date and requires a continuing review (Renewal Form) or if the approval does not expire.
All research procedures must cease if a study expires without a new approval.
