What is the timeframe requirement for transition?

• All studies must be transitioned no later than October 31, 2024. As of November 1, 2024 any project still active outside of IRBOnline will automatically be closed and archived and all research procedures must stop.

• Renewal forms will not be accepted nor reviewed for any “paper” applications.  Rather than a renewal form, a new study application must be submitted via IRBOnline.  Just as with renewal forms, please ensure you submit the application in IRBOnline in sufficient time for the review and approval before the expiration date as all expiration dates are still valid. If the new project has not been approved, upon expiration all research procedures must stop until the research has been approved as part of the new application.
