Protection of Minors Policy
Description
The Division of Public Safety at UIUC manages the Protection of Minors review process.
Research activities that have been approved by the IRB do not have to report to the Protection of Minors program according to the Campus Administrative Manual. However, safety protocols should still be put in place and will be reviewed by the IRB as part of the inclusion of children in research.
Please be aware that minors acting as members of the research team may require reporting and the PI should contact the Division of Public Safety for more information.
