What is meant by Active Projects in IRBOnline?

Answer

• Active projects are projects that have been submitted to OPRS and received an Exempt determination, Minimal Risk approval, or Greater than Minimal Risk approval AND have not been closed or archived.
• OPRS will provide lists to researchers of the projects they are listed as PI that are Active in OPRS records.
• Any project that requires ongoing IRB oversight, this includes data analysis of identifiable data.
