What is the timeline for transitioning a project to IRBOnline? 

Answer

• All studies must be fully transitioned no later than October 31, 2024.  As of November 1, 2024 any project still active outside of IRBOnline will be closed and archived and all research procedures must stop. 
• Researchers should also consider if it will be easier to submit their project on a new study application at a random time where no amendments are needed to avoid any timing pressure of review and approval.
